It is law school with reputation and mostly found among the young aspirants, specially for 5 years course Course Offered: Under graduate - B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Post Graduate - LLM - Master of Laws- 2 years programme Eligibility: Should have passed LL.B. Degree or its equivalent from a recognised University and should have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate of the maximum marks prescribed. - M.Phil (Master of Philosophy) Shall have an LL.M. degree either from the NLSIU or from any other recognised University, securing not less than a 'B' grade or an aggregate of 50% marks or its equivalent - Distant Education The National Law School also provides for academic programmes, in distance education. There is no age limit, it is open for any graduate of any recognized University. The courses available are: • Two year Master of Business Laws (P.G. Degree) • One year P.G. Diploma in Human Rights Law • One year P.G. Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics • One year P.G. Diploma in Environmental Law • One year P.G. Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Law The courses start in July every year. Admissions are completed by 30 June, every year. However at the discretion of the Director, and for justifiable reasons, candidates may be admitted upto 31 st August on payment of late fee of Rs.500/-.
