458. Provisions with respect to rules and regulations.- (1) All rules and regulations made under this Act shall be published in the Official Gazette.

(2) In making a rule or regulation under this Act, the General Government may direct that a breach thereof shall be punishable-

(a) in the case of a rule made under section 331, with imprisonment which may extend to two years, or with fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees, or with both;

(b) in the case of any other rule regulation made under any other provision of those Act, within which may extend to one thousand rupees; and in either case if the breach is a continuing one, with further fine which may extend to fifty rupees for every day after the first during which the breach 'continues.

(3) All rules and regulations made under this Act shall be laid for not less than thirty days before each House of Parliament as soon as may be after they were made and shall be subject to such modifications as Parliament may make during the session in which they are so laid or the session immediately following.
