Unberthed passengers or pilgrims to be supplied with prescribed provisions.- (1) The master of an unberthed passenger ship of any contractor employed by him for the purpose shall not, without reasonable excuse, the burden of proving which shall lie upon him, omit to supply to any unberthed passenger the prescribed allowance of food, fuel and water, and the master of a pilgrim ship, or any contractor employed by him for the purpose shall not , without reason able excise, the him for the purpose of propping which shall lie upon him, omits tot supply to any pilgrim the prescribed allowance of food and of water as required by the prevision of this Part. (2) Where, unfired the terms of the toccata issued top an unberthed passenger, he is not entitled passenger , he is not entitled top the supplied on food by the master or owner or agent of the ship, sub -section (1) shall, it the case of such passenger, have effect as if the reference to "food" it that subsection were omitted. | ||||||
