Notice to be given of day of sailing.- (1) The master, owner or magnet of an unberthed passenger ship or a pilgrim ship so departing or proceeding shall give notice to a officer appointed in this behalf by the Central Government that the ship is to carry unberthed passengers or pilgrims and of her destination and of the proposed time of sailing. (2) The notice shall be given- (a) in the case of an unberthed passenger ship, not less than twenty-four hours before that time; (b) in the case of a pilgrim ship at the original port of departure, if in India, and in any other case at the first port at which she touches in India, not less than three days, and at all other ports not less than twenty-four hours, before that time. | ||||||
