89. Medical Certificate.- If any worker is absent from work due to his illness and he wants to avail himself of leave with wages due to cover the whole or part of the period of his illness under the provisions of sub-section (7) of Section 9, he shall, if required by the Manager, produce a medical certificate signed a Registered Medical Practitioner or recognised Vaid or Hakim stating the cause of the absence and the period for which the worker, is, in the opinion of such medical practitioner, Vaid of Hakim unable to attend to his work or other reliable evidence to prove that he was actually sick during the period for which he leave is to be availed of. | |||||
