47. White-washing, colour-washing of latrines and urinals.- The walls, ceiling and partitions of every latrine and urinal shall be white-washed or colour-washed and the white-washing or colour-washing shall be repeated at least once in every period of four months. The dates on which the white-washing or colour-washing is carried out shall be entered in the prescribed Register (Form No.7). Provided that this Rule shall not apply to latrines and urinals the walls, ceilings or portions of which are laid glazed tiles or otherwise finished to provide smooth, polished impervious surface and that they are washed with suitable detergents and disinfectants at least once in every period of four months. | |||||
