59. Closing addresses. —After the examination of the witnesses, the prosecutor may make a closing address and the accused or his counsel or the defending officer, as the case may be, shall be entitled to reply: Provided that where any point of law is raised by the accused, the prosecutor may, with the permission of the court, make his submission with regard to that point.
