Committal warrants. — A warrant for the committal of a person sentenced by a court-martial to a prison under the provision of section 168 and sub-section (2) of section 169, shall be in one of the forms given in Appendix IV. Such warrant shall be signed and despatched by the commanding officer of the prisoner or by any higher authority or his staff officer and forwarded to the proper prison authority.
