Signing and transmission of proceedings. — Upon the court arriving at a finding of “Not Guilty”, or awarding the sentence in case of having arrived at a finding of “Guilty”, the presiding officer shall date and sign the finding or sentence, as the case may be. The signature shall authenticate the whole of the proceedings and the proceedings upon being signed by the judge-advocate, if any, shall at once be transmitted to the confirming officer, for confirmation.
