Heard both sides.

The present Civil Appeal has been filed against the interim order passed by the High Court of Karnataka in an Election Petition filed by the respondents herein. We are told that subsequent to the filing of the Civil Appeal, the elections to the State Legislature were held and new Members had been elected.

Therefore, this Civil Appeal has become infructuous and is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
