and Exchange Board of India (Collective Investment Scheme)
(Amendment) Regulations, 2002
S. O. 75 (E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section
(1) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992
(15 of 1992), the Board hereby makes the following regulations
to further amend the Securities and Exchange Board of India
(Collective Investment Schemes) regulations, 1999, namely:

1. (i) These regulations may be called the Securities and
Exchange Board of India (Collective Investment Scheme) (Amendment)
Regulations, 2002.
(ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication
in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Collective
Investment Schemes) Regulations, 1999 (hereinafter referred
to as "regulation"): -
a. In regulations 71, in sub-regulation (1): -
(i) in clause (a), for the word 'one' the word 'two' shall
be substituted.
(ii) in clause (b), for the word 'one' the word 'two' shall
be substituted.
(iii) in clause (c), for the word 'one' the word 'two' shall
be substituted.
(iv) in clause (d), for the word 'one' the word 'two' shall
be substituted.
(v) in clause (e), for the word 'one' the word 'two' shall
be substituted.
