Bail : meaning
 
 
Bail is some form of security deposit (which may be in form of property document or fix deposit receipts) by the surety in the court on the understanding that the accused will appear regularly before the court on the date of the hearings. In case accused does not appear on the date of hearing Bail amount is generally forfeited to the state exchequer.
