14. Signing of documents.- (1) A document purporting to be signed by a partnership firm shall be signed by at least one of the partners stating that he signs on behalf of the firm and a document purporting to be signed by a body corporate shall be signed by a director or by the secretary or other principal officer of the body corporate. The capacity in which an individual signs a document on behalf of a partnership or a body corporate shall be stated below his signature. (2) Signatures to any document shall be accompanied by the name of the signatory in Hindi or capital letters, if signed in English. |
