Notice to be given to consular representative of proceedings taken in respect of foreign ship.- If any other than an Indian sip is detained under this Act, or if any proceedings are take under this Act, against the master, owner or agent of any such ship, notice shall for with be served on the consular officer of the country in which the ship is registered, at or nearest to the port where the ship is for the time beings, and such notice shall specify the grounds on which the ship has been detained or the proceedings have been taken. | ||||||
