13. Constitution of Councils.- (1) The Government shall set up a Council for monitoring the working of this Ordinance, at the State level under the Chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, or any Additional Chief Secretary and for every Revenue Division, under the Chairmanship of the concerned Divisional Commissioner. Such Council shall generally comprise such members who are the persons of repute and standing in society including representatives of media and non-government organisations, and academicians, as may be prescribed. (2) The Councils may take review of the working of the Ordinance, not less than once in six months and make suitable recommendations to the Government. |
