13. Staff of Lokayukta and Upalokayukta.- (1) The Government shall in consultation with the Lokayukta, provide officers and other employees to assist the Lokayukta and Upalokayukta in the discharge of their functions under this Act. (2) without prejudice to the provisions of sub-section (1), the Lokayukta or an Upalokayukta may, for the purpose of conducting inquiries under this Act, utilize the services of – (i) any officer on investigation agency of the Government or the Central Government, with the concurrence of that Government, or (ii) any other person or agency. |
