27. Chairman to exercise the powers of the Managing Director during vacancy in the office of the Managing Director.- During any period when the office of the Managing Director is vacant, the powers and duties of the Managing Director under these regulations and any other regulations framed under the Act be exercised by the Chairman, if so authorized to him by the Central Government and while so exercising the powers of the Managing Director, the Chairman shall be deemed to be the Managing Director. |
