92. Rent how payable.- An Asami may pay his rent either direct or by postal money order, but the acceptance by the Gaon Sabha or the land holder of a sum so paid shall not debar the Gaon Sabha or the land holder, as the case may be, form proving that the amount due for any year or installment was different from the amount paid. (2) Where rent is remitted by money order, the payee’s receipt or the endorsement of refusal on the money order duly stamped by the post office shall be admissible in evidence without formal proof and shall, until the contrary is proved, be presumed to record the receipt or refusal thereof. | |||||
