Appointment of officer for settlement under section 129.- After the issue of notification under section 129, the Chief Commissioner may appoint in such area any officer with the powers of a Settlement Officer subject to such restrictions and conditions as he may think fit but not so as to enable him to enhance the land revenue thereof. |
