Procedure to be adopted by a Settlement Officer.- When the State or a part thereof has been brought under settlement, the Settlement Officer or an Assistant Settlement Officer shall inspect every village under settlement and shall, in such manner and on such principles as may be prescribed, divide the State or the part into soil classes and assessment circles. |
