75. Vacuum and magnetic lifting gear.- The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that- (a) no vacuum lifting gear, magnetic lifting gear or any other lifting gear where the load on it is held by adhesive power, is used while workers are performing operations beneath such gear; (b) a magnetic lifting gear used in connection with building or other construction work is provided with an alternative supply of power, such as batteries, which may come into operation immediately in the event of failure of the main power supply: (c) no building worker shall work within the swinging zone of the lifting gear or load or building or other construction material suspended to such lifting gear. | |||||
