113. Demolition of structural steel.- The employer shall ensure at a construction site of a building or other construction work that- (a) all steel structures are demolished column by column and tier by tier and every structural member which is being demolished is not under any stress and such structural member is suitably lashed to prevent it from any uncontrolled swinging or dropping or falling; (b) large structural members are not thrown or dropped from the building but are carefully lowered by adopting suitable safe method; (c) where a lifting appliance like a derrick is used for demolition, the floor on which such lifting appliance rests is completely planked over or supported and such floor is of adequate strength to sustain bearing load for such lifting appliance and its operation; | |||||
