2. Amendment of section 9.- In section 9 of the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974 (52 of 1974.) (hereinafter referred to as the principle Act), in sub-section (1), for the words, figures and letters "the 31st day of December, 1975", the words, figures and letters "the 31st day of December, 1977" shall be substituted.
